You DO judge a book by its cover!
Your mom advised you against it. And yet, you still do it. We all do. Everyday. And what’s worse, we’ve all carried that flaw into our digital lives.
Every time you visit a website and every time you check out an ebook that catches your interest. You judge it by its looks first… before even reading the headline. And it’s completely natural, images draw our eyes more than words. And only once our mind is comfortable with what we see, we take the time to actually pay attention to the words (which do the actual selling).
Even the most resilient marketing gurus are finally coming to this realization. If you’ve been in the online marketing space for more than 3 or 4 months, you’ve seen their sites and products becoming more and more visually appealing. And thanks to this, their profits are growing higher than ever before.
So now that you know the facts: Do you think that new visitors to your site are judging it favorably?
(Hint: Your sales stats should give you a pretty clear idea).
If you think your site or product graphics could use a make-over, I’d like to recommend you a really good service that goes by the name of VirtuaPack.com. My wife (Alpha del Bosque) has decided to re-open the doors and do a few more projects…
Check the site out and compare the work in her portfolio to what you have right now. When you do, you’ll immediately know if you need her services or not -I’ll wager right now that you’ll want to hire her on the spot. (Yeah, she’s *that* good!).

Ping This!
That is so true and we all know it, that’s why I try to read everything before making a decision nice post.
thank you
Derrick
It is true that you really do need to have a good “cover” to attract and keep people – there are so many agents I work with who have websites that might have cut it in 1994…but now just look awful. I don’t understand it – why wouldn’t you want your best self to be seen?
